Offset Policy for Indian defense
Today, businesses associated with defense products and services know that the Ministry of Defense of the Government of India has furthered the Defense Procurement Policy (DPP) of 2005.
The new offset policy mandates that any foreign company selling defense-related equipments to India, must develop at least 30 per cent of the contract cost for the product in India.
